A teenager discovers the story of Henrietta Lacks, a young mother African-American, in an old issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Suffering from a cervical cancer, its cells were taken and used without its consent. HeLa cells, which have revolutionized modern medicine and enabled the development of several vaccines, are now found in many research laboratories!
