Chased by a devastating fire, a hut mounted on tracks traces its path wake in the heart of a mountainous forest. On board, a family of five people are racing to escape the devastating flames. So that a strange veil suddenly unfolds above the fire, one of the three children take advantage of this moment of calm to escape and go explore the surroundings... A dystopian tale with chiseled features, Hutte plunges us into a mysterious world and oppressive where every living being is used for the resources it product. Influenced by both cinema (The Lobster by Yorgos Lanthimos) than by the comic strip (The screw of Yoshiharu Tsuge) Louis Chalumeau invites us through fiction to question ourselves on current topics such as than the fall in biodiversity or climate migrants. Punctuated with poetic wordplay, the story develops like a strange dream. which gradually turns into a nightmare. The lightness of the drawing contrasts with the seriousness of the subject. A subtle and delicate book that speaks to us of nature which blazing, headlong flight, dangerous curiosity and cooperation interspecies.
