infra/seum
infra/seum
"infra/seum", Douce Dibondo's second collection after "métacures", is anger
put into poetry. How to express the rage that inhabits us in the face of violence
structuring our lives and intimacies? How can we express the monstrous parts that
inhabit our shadows? Through a work of language as provocation, of the
twisting vocabulary and space, the author explores the continents of seum
and what it does to our bodies and our beings. Poetry becomes a raw mirror,
ambivalent and precise of a look at the worlds. Unlike an analysis
binary, Douce Dibondo navigates the complexity of social relationships and the way
whose dominations they imbue themselves with. Through this, she develops a poetry
dangerous against the illusions of the world and our own violence.
