One day, the crowd takes the Bastille. The National Assembly constitutes, Charlotte commits to it: history is in progress, and these are not some anachronisms that will prevent it from moving forward... Shy but in love with freedom and her art, Maximilienne is torn between the calm and delicacy of the luminous aesthete Camille, and the lyrical impulses, the generous and violent political passion of the dark Charlotte.
