The color of gesture
The color of gesture
The Panama collection aims to offer as many people as possible a panorama
chosen from contemporary artists who, in their own way, mark their medium and
their time. It is about showing the work of young artists,
of little-known or not yet recognized artists, and thus to support their
professionalization and contribute to their reputation in their space
professional as well as towards the general public. Through the production of
ceramic volumes which are most often everyday objects such as
bowls, plates, dishes, pitchers, Héloïse Bariol seeks dialogues between
shapes and colors, as well as a field of interactions between the user, the object and
the surrounding space. In search of mobility, she tries to question the
porosity between different categories, utility/sculpture, painting/sculpture,
plan/volume, exploring the material possibilities offered by ceramics.
