The Morality of Xerox
The Morality of Xerox
The Morality of the Xerox consists of a translation of two texts, respectively
by Clara Balaguer and Florian Cramer. A common theme is addressed:
appropriation. Clara is Filipina, and Florian, Dutch. They are two
reports to the question and two distinct liabilities contrasted. On the front
of the book, the author focuses on the issues of access to knowledge
in the Philippines, where it is necessary to "pirate" his books. On the back,
The author traces the history of the appropriation, then an episode where he himself
had his texts stolen by a major institution.
