The Promise

In his series, Jérôme Blin focuses on young people in rural areas, rarely represented (here in the territory of La Gacilly in Brittany). He captures this age first choices, or non-choices, that moment when some stay and others leave. Some will continue their studies, and leave the places of childhood, to perhaps return better one day. The others will stay, to start an apprenticeship, or enter working life. Trajectories then take shape, which for some will determine their entire existence.
