The dress and the hand
The dress and the hand
As part of its 2018 residency, the PMU invited Julien Magre to wear a
a unique look at the world of horses. A majestic building, the dawn that
rises on a training track in the wilderness and finally man and animal,
main actors of what is going to happen. For this photographic project, Julien
Magre immersed himself in the world of horse racing, from the stables of the trainers of
gallop and trot to the racecourse. Discovering the backstage of the place
emblematic places such as Paris Longchamp, Chantilly and Grosbois, the
photographer questions the boundary between human intelligence and
animal instinct.
