The Tour

Without KWithout K G.H. Fretwell, a minor author of little-known novels, lives in a small town English, with his wife, Rebecca, who doesn't pay much attention to him. His new novel, has just been released and Fretwell is embarking on a tour meetings in bookstores to promote it. More or less well received In the bookstores on his circuit, Fretwell never managed to sign the the slightest book and spends days walking through alleys to find his path. Abandoned by his publisher who clearly has other fish to fry, he is impatiently waiting for a review to appear in the literary section from a major daily newspaper, a column that will never come. Fretwell's troubles begins when he is questioned by the police about a stolen suitcase because Its circuit is strangely similar to that of the "Suitcase Killer", a killer in series which is raging at that time. Fretwell will gradually understand that the police suspect him...Andi Watson's new book, which is being published for the first time exclusive to France, is a little gem of dark humor with a graphic style retro. We follow with delight the misfortunes of this author confronted with a situation where everything escapes him, a Kafkaesque story, which takes a surrealist turn as problems pile up on Fretwell's path.
