The Golden Age - Volume 1
The Golden Age - Volume 1
Legend speaks of a "golden age, where valleys and mountains were unhindered
of no wall. Where men came and went freely..." But this
distant time is well and truly over. The kingdom is overwhelmed by famine and
misdeeds of the lords of the court. When the old king died, his daughter Tilda
is preparing to ascend the throne to succeed him. With the support of the wise man
Tankred and loyal Bertil, her closest advisors and friends, she intends
carry out the reforms necessary to relieve its people of the ills that
overwhelm her. But a plot led by her younger brother suddenly condemns her to
exile. Guided by strange signs, Tilda decides to reconquer her kingdom
with the help of his two companions. Then begins a long journey, where their
destiny will be linked to "The Golden Age"; much more than a legend, much more than
the past history of free men and their struggle, it is a forgotten book
whose power is so great that it will change the world.
