  • Jean Dubuffet's Art Brut - Presentation of 100 works from the Collection of Art Brut created by Jean Dubuffet in the 1970s. With major figures such as Aloïse, Adolf Wölfli, Henry Darger and Augustin Lesage. Jean Dubuffet, the originator of the concept of "art brut", gathered an extraordinary collection of works related to it over twenty-five years. In 1970, he decided to perpetuate it by offering a place to these works by self-taught artists, residents of psychiatric hospitals, prisoners, originals, solitaries, outcasts. He is thus at the origin of the first collection of Art Brut in the world, which includes the works of major figures such as Aloïse, Adolf Wölfli, Henry Darger, Augustin Lesage, Josef Hofer, etc. This historic landmark, where nearly 60,000 works are preserved, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2016. \n \nIt is on the occasion of this event that this work was designed as a showcase housing 100 of the most important works contained by the museum. Careful manufacturing and quality graphics will contribute to offering an original and astonishing object, in the image of the works it contains.
