  • The rustling between the walls invites the viewer to wander through a garden of hybrid images where photography and needle drawing intertwine. With the Peach Walls of Montreuil as a backdrop but also as the main driving force, Clara Chichin and Sabatina Leccia wander and take samples from reality, digging secret galleries between the fantastic aspect of this place that lends itself to reverie and its historical aspect and witness to the strata of time – peach ripening of King Louis XIV, market gardening, popular place, gentrified, caught in a vice by urban sprawl. The materiality of their collaboration allows them to embody the layers of time and perception, between the walls are impalpable energies. The artists deliver a sensory map that reorients the understanding of this place. Working at the slow pace of the living, this taking of time and on time is a poetic invitation to reclaim politics. Being engaged is not just about denouncing but here, about reconnecting with the sensitive, about proposing a re-enchantment.
