THE WORLD IS BREAKIN' UP

Miroslav Weissmuller's work was first distilled into a few collective and limited edition books, often in screen printing. This book is the opportunity to discover a series of 32 unpublished images, processed in direct tones alternating. Its design echoes both medieval woodcuts and the underground graphic universe. Animals, historical creatures or mythological encounters occur in chaotic landscapes, both natural and than industrial and urban. The dense and detailed compositions are inhabited or invaded by patterns and signs, which give the whole a character almost hypnotic.
