Lux in darkness

"Lux in tenebris" is an original and intimate sea voyage. The author, Vincent Jendly, a photographer, boarded five merchant navy cargo ships to experience his ambivalent relationship with water, developed after escaping the drowning as a child. Here, in the strange world of large cargo ships, the night is hostile: in the deepest darkness, when the weather is covered and the boat disappears completely, nothing distinguishes it from water, and the invisible sea becomes even more abysmal.
