Our daily bread

Our Daily Bread is a collection of images in the form of 156 boards iconographic. Coming from various media and medium such as networks social, cookbooks, learning manuals, archives audiovisual, etc., these images were printed at the same scale, cut out and manually arranged on the circumscribed space of A4 sheets. Passing from the fragmentation into a whole, these boards regroup without hierarchy, but by theme, different aspects of the culture and iconography of bread. As the pages turn, a collective memory unfolds around this staple food. and generator of commons – from its manufacture to its most derivative uses.
