Now and Then - Sarah Moon (born 1941) grew up in England and France. After working as a model in Paris for a few years, she began taking photographs in 1968.

\nHer early campaign photography for Cacharel (with Robert Delpire) was followed by countless commercial work for Dior, Chanel, Comme des Garçons and Christian Lacroix. In addition, Moon has shot fashion editorials for magazines, short films and documentaries, as well as the feature film Mississipi One. She was the first woman to shoot for the famous Pirelli calendar. Her recent work includes photographs and a short film for Dior Homme.

\nLooking at Moon's often blurry black and whites or pale color photographs—often taken on Polaroid film—one is drawn into a realm of dreams, myths, and fears. Simultaneously, her works hint at celestial ideals, unfamiliar landscapes, and enchanted cities. Her portraits of girls and women, especially her fashion images, seem to offer a glimpse of timelessness.
