Clouds

In 1873, the International Meteorological Organization was created and entrusted three renowned meteorologists, Hugo Hildebrand Hildebrandsson, Albert Riggenbach and Léon Teisserenc de Bort the task of establishing the first cloud atlas. It will take twenty-six years to achieve this. This reissue of the version from 1910, still relevant from a scientific point of view, is thought of as a work of art. These illustrations, where old-fashioned beauty competes with the strangeness, fascinates, just like the constantly changing spectacle of the clouds.
