OTHER VOICES - BILINGUAL EDITION

In order to explore the connection between recording and memory, I used photographs that I couldn't bring myself to print because of painful memories. The recording of this precise time captured in the pictures were so vivid that I was looking for a way to free myself from the hurts to which they brought me back. It was then that I found the solution in the lines by Marcel Proust; “Create a new memory by rewriting these "Painful Recordings". Hideyuki Ishibashi
