Over the Rainbow Exhibition Catalog

Throughout the 20th century and up to the present day, artists have contributed to give representation to so-called “minority” sexualities and took part to the struggles led by LGBTQI+ communities for the recognition of their rights. Mainly made up of works from the collections of the Center Pompidou, and deeply rooted in one of the great ethical and social aspects of the contemporary world, the exhibition "Over the Rainbow" offers a constellation of works from various fields, such as prints, films, photography or song, in touch with popular culture. The The exhibition catalogue reflects the variety of these approaches through essays, thematic focuses, notices of works, articulated with a cultural and social chronology.
