Paris Nord \n \nMyr Muratet's first monograph, "Paris Nord" offers a
sensitive look at the fragile, precarious and inventive forms developed by
populations living on the margins. Through images from series
major works of the photographer (Paris-Nord, Wasteland, CityWalk, The flora of wastelands)
we discover the interstices of the city as so many places where the intimate is
slide, where the wild and the forgotten coexist with the domestic and the everyday.
This intimacy is contrasted with massive and anonymous forms, which come
to fill the gaps to prevent occupation, pushing back ever further
the communities that depend on it. A text by Manuel Joseph, published in the form
from a flying notebook, fits into the book without becoming attached to it. Published
on the occasion of the exhibition “Comfort Zone” at Signe, National Center of
graphic design in Chaumont, with the support of Signe and the National Arts Center
plastics.
