Passage
In the queer community of a Finnish city, Elia evolves within a
close-knit group of friends. But, in the grip of depression, he feels a need
growing to isolate himself. One evening, while he was going to the skating rink in
lonely, a mysterious car from the 1950s appears in front of him. From then on,
he is obsessed with the idea of finding his owner, with whom he will end up
to form an unexpected relationship, made of complicity and sharing of experiences
from one era to another... until the present is finally remembered
to him. Because this dreamlike incursion into the past will have made him take
awareness of the preciousness of loving and friendly bonds, particularly in
minority environments, and the importance of creating a place, a space, for
to find each other. And if past struggles have laid the foundations for obtaining the
first freedoms, it is in the present and in common that this quest for
further visibility and acceptance must continue.
