Thinking about the image - Volume 3 - How to read images?

Although they certainly do not lack visibility, contemporary images suffer from a lack of readability. Overliterate as we are, we are still imperfectly prepared to decipher the news visual realities that nevertheless determine our lives, more than ever. How rearm the gaze and make reading a critical tool of the present? Regards crossed (art history, philosophy, photography, cinema, architecture, history of science...) on the heterogeneous forms that the discourse of images. With, incidentally, a return to the very notion of reading which, in contact with images, comes to touch its own limit. How to read therefore, at the risk of illegibility?
