photography and visual arts through “Percevoir”, a collection of

Thomas Mailaender has been collecting vernacular images on
Internet doomed to disappear. Guided by a keen sense of the absurd and the
grotesque, the photographer stores, classifies and finally diverts these images thanks to
to various interventions: enlargement, assembly, material inlay,
drawing on print, dialogues with other images... A strange collection of
present time that leaves no one indifferent. Philippe Azoury accompanies this
photographic opus of an essay on the life of images on the Internet and networks
social.
