With the founding idea of ​​favoring creative residencies and commissions public, Planche(s) Contact has set itself the theme of exploration and restitution of everything that constitutes the identity factors of a city. Year Every year, guest photographers turn their attention to Deauville and exhibit their unique vision. Since its creation in 2010, Planche(s) Contact has positioned itself as one of the rare festivals of photographic commissions related to the territory. Based on the presentation of the work carried out by guest artists in residence, he has a wonderful history of creations to his credit, of meetings and discoveries, built under the artistic direction first of Patrick Remy, then Philippe Normand. On the occasion of the tenth edition, the City invited me as the new artistic director. This allowed me to participate in the reflection on the evolution of the festival and to rediscover, alongside the guest photographers, the charm of Deauville.
