BY HERE ALL WELL - Since the summer of 2018, photographer Federico Vespignani has spent a few years with a group of children from the Barrio 18 gang in Honduras and has seen them grow up within this imaginary border, becoming lookouts and then soldiers.

\nThe hill is surrounded by an imaginary border and the kids in the neighborhood will tell you "La Dieciocho controla". Their presence permeates every aspect of life in the neighborhood and for some, the barrio is everything. Gang membership is a gray concept in Cerrito Lindo - it's just part of life in the neighborhood. It's where you were born, where you come from. It's what they live for, and outside those blood-cut borders, death awaits.

\nSome of the characters in this book lost their lives, some ended up in prison, some found God, and some went off in search of something else.

\nPhotographer Federico Vespignani (1988) is an Italian photographer and cinematographer. Since 2015 he has been covering organized crime and environmental issues in Central America.
