Street portraits

In residence as part of the Vagabondage 932 project on the Cité Jacqueline Auriol in Chamiers, Laurent Lolmède was interested in the toponymy of the district. He drew places with signs indicating the names of the streets in the center. Then he learned a lot of stuff by researching people. more or less famous whose names appear on the plaques. He juxtaposes his landscape drawings and the informed portraits of these people. Lolmède realizes thus a sensitive and often funny document which provides information on the “little” local geography.
