YET WE HAD DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT
YET WE HAD DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT
In 'Yet we had done everything well', the Hécatombe collective offers a
stroll through a timeless future punctuated by (self-)destruction and
reconstructions of its societies. Fall, get up again, but to recreate what? Neither
completely dystopian, nor totally utopian, this future will most certainly be
chaotic and organic. Drawn by 5 hands, this book is the result of a month of
residency carried out in Basel, at the Cartoon Museum. It is a counterpart and a
parallel to the Hécatombe Collectives exhibition which took place at the Cartoon Museum
from 03/11 to 06/18/2023.
