QP
3rd part of Powerpaola's autobiographical work.
QP is a compilation of short comic strips of a few pages which, put together
end to end, draw the story of a couple, that formed by Powerpaola (P) and
her husband Quique (Q). Together they share everything: daily life in Buenos Aires,
trips to Latin America – to El Salvador, Colombia, the Amazon –,
dreams and the difficulties of the life of artists. Eight years of their life together
which constitutes a sort of souvenir album for the couple, made up of moments and
of anecdotes, until their separation.
Chronicles of a Couple, QP is the third part of the autobiographical project of
Powerpaola after Tropical Virus and Everything Will Be Fine. We find the
Powerpoala's very free style, and its anchoring in everyday life; a style that
at once funny, delicate and tinged with dreaminess.
