The images collected in this work are taken from a theological treatise
dating from the 15th century: The Mirror of Man's Salvation. Its ambition is to
to conceive of the history preceding the coming of Christ as a prefiguration of
this coming. So that we must consider that the story of the life of Christ
would be announced, already, in the history prior to its existence. The
