Collection No. 2
Collection No. 2
In 2016, Magnani editions launched the RECUEIL collection dedicated to work
visual artist Jérémie Fischer. During his stays in the mountains each
year, Jérémie Fischer explores nature and wild expanses of different
French regions. During his travels, he creates collages
landscapers in line with Matisse. The RECUEIL collection had proposed in
2016 a first volume a selection of his most graphic experiments
radical throughout thirty abstract landscape paintings that
Jérémie Fischer had made during a stay in Manosque and Forcalquier in
the Alpes de Haute-Provence. In the second volume, soberly entitled "COMPENDENCE
n°2 by Jérémie Fischer", new graphic experiments born from a
other hikes – the Pyrenees, Col de Meuté – will be assembled throughout the
book, with a thread of short texts – poetic snapshots – reproducing the
evanescent and penetrating character of sensations, or of visions experienced throughout
along the march. A border book, on the edge of the art book, poetry and
of narration. Another encounter with the universe and the personality of
Jérémie Fischer published by Magnani.
