Remembering The Future, 3rd edition - For years, Angel Albarrán (born in
1969) and Anna Cabrera (born in 1969) are the preferred printers of museums and
world-renowned photographers like Masao Yamamoto. Recently, they have
are developed as artists, experimenting with new techniques
traditional printing and exhibiting all over the world. In addition to
master traditional techniques such as platinum prints and
cyanotypes, they developed a unique printing technology: printing
photographs with pigments on thin Japanese paper, which is then
placed on the gold leaf, imbuing the images with an unearthly quality.
\nThis album, one of the most magnificent of recent years, demonstrates
the extraordinary beauty of photographic and printing techniques
masterful works of the duo. Frequent trips to Japan fuel the content of these
photographs, often wonderfully abstract in their treatment
printing; color photos.
