  • There is nothing more “dated” than the word “future”. And yet, when we see the state present, we must believe in it again. In this fifth bilingual issue:From New From York to Bristol, via Marseille, Pantin and Paris, we ask questions several visions of the future of housing by inviting us into eight apartments as different as they are complementary. A future made of ultra-materials technical but durable corresponding to the utopian images conveyed by the science fiction works. A retro-future with organic shapes that smell well the psychedelic comics of the 70s. A future of the juxtaposition, grafting, where contemporary objects such as a “bento box” inspire the creation of modules that fit into antique interiors. Or yet another ultimately very current future which is being played out in conservation and valorization of traces and materials from the past. We are interested in the future of our cities through the place we give to the new generation of inhabitants in our file “Children in the city”. Because a city hospitable city for children is simply a hospitable city. We So let's explore the evolution of their place, the experimental solutions imagined to make cities a playground conducive to their development, we Let's give the floor to families who tell us about the constraints or on the contrary the opportunities they see in raising their children in the city. A one thing is certain, since they are there, they must be taken into account. We We also invite you to two personalities who combine their art with the future and contribute through their work to renewing these emotion machines that are ours cities. Social media star chef Julien Sebbag reveals his new apartment designed with his architect friend Julien Sebban, founder of the agency Uchronia, an interior full of tasty shapes, materials and colors, the image of his recipes. The star dancer Germain Louvet poses in his interior by complying with the brief of our “ballet and domesticity” (SIC) teams. It tells us about his journey, speaks to us about dance as a precipitate of life urban and shares with us his questions regarding this shaped art by a long tradition. Eclecticism, poetry, art, escape, beauty and Innovation is definitely not a function of the number of square meters!
