Witches

The witches get off their broomsticks, abandon their cauldrons and pass to electricity: they plug in their microphones, their guitars and their amps to cast a spell on us with the haunting music they concoct. These witch artists are called: Kate Bush, Stevie Nicks, Yoko Ono, Nina Simone, Anne Sylvestre, Marianne Faithfull, or even Lana Del Rey. Abandoning grimoires and black cats, witches are back in popular culture, to the point of claiming what for too long was a sign of infamy, or as Yoko Ono sings: “Yes, I'm a Witch”!
