They will be launched simultaneously during of the Rencontres d'Arles. "My first job was wedding photographer. I had 18 years old and I had bought a brown corduroy suit for the occasion and Italian shirts. It suited me just fine to watch others being happy and to be the one on whom the memory of the most beautiful day of their life depended. And then, I only worked on Saturdays, which left me time for think about something else. The wedding photographer has a central role; he is the alone to be so close to the bride and groom from morning to evening. He is so close, he sees everything, he hears everything. He advises, arranges the dress, orders the crowds family and creates memories by tirelessly repeating a repertoire of tried and tested poses." Jean-Christian Bourcart offers in his series The Most Beautiful day of my life a wacky and offbeat family album, made up of photos of marriages saved from oblivion.
