On the wire
The project of the fashion house ZARIF DESIGN, created by Zolaykha Sherzad in
Kabul in 2005, helps to revive the know-how and skills of the
Afghan people, threatened with extinction while they constitute a real
technical and artistic culture. Textile creations, photographic collections
from the National Museum of Asian Arts in Guimet, short film by Atiq Rahimi and
contemporary photographs, echoing each other, bear witness to this with sobriety and
elegance.
