Tomorrow's Shelters - Arch Manifest is a new collection from @editionsbessard linking photography and architecture. Each book in the collection will be an opportunity to discover the work of an architect through texts and photographic documents. The design evolves according to the work of the architect: the format, layout and cover will change for each issue. The only recurring element, the AM logo, marks the spirit of the collection like a monogram. The capital letters that compose it affirm the architectural purpose by being very structured and support this idea of a manifesto. For its first issue, the collection opens with a collaboration with Didier Faustino, the director of the collection, and one of his utopian architectures questioning the future. This labyrinthine and modular architecture with multiple combinations inspired the design of the book with a play on scale transposed to the body of the text, playing on the typography and its occupation of the format. The cover will be in a pastel blue tone, a color that the architect particularly likes. It will also open and fold into facets, reminiscent of the structures that Faustino imagined.
