Throughout the pages, famous artists and promising young talents tell the stories of cities and countries they have visited through illustrations, describing the architectural richness of each place and its unique light, capturing the days that pass and the lives of its inhabitants. From remote wildernesses to sleepless cities, the Travel Book offers a new and contemporary vision of travel. Using the medium of their choice, each artist explores a country that is previously unknown to them. The creative universes exhibited are varied: drawing, painting, collage, contemporary art, illustration, comics or manga.\n\nIn this volume, Canadian artist Marcel Dzama visits Morocco. He describes the daily life of its inhabitants, their customs and traditions, and explores the diversity of its landscapes, from the coast to the desert and across the mountains. His images depict an objective reality, sometimes almost abstract, even surreal.
