In 2023, as part of the rich program celebrating its centenary, the
Villa Noailles invited Ronan Bouroullec to present three exhibitions: Drawings
daily at the Hôtel des Arts in Toulon, Hands in clay at the Galerie du
Canon and Recent Productions within the Villa Noailles itself. The invitation has
took the form of a triptych resonating with the universe of Ronan Bouroullec where the
effects of deployment, unfolding, putting into perspective and organization of
visual planes occupy a central place. The graphic project of this book in
is the extension.
For the first time, the three practices are brought together in a single work
daily and intertwined by Ronan Bouroullec: drawing, clay – at
through his ceramic sculptures, his vases, his facing tiles, his
bas-reliefs – but also his latest proposals for object and design
in situ projects, including the development of the Saint-Michel chapel in
Armparts.
