Blood is not synthesized, or not yet. When someone receives a
blood transfusion, it is necessarily thanks to others who have done the
approach to give theirs, free of charge and anonymously. Each year, 119
millions of blood bags are thus collected worldwide, allowing
to care for and save thousands of people, contrary to any narcissism or
 commercial consideration.
Three drops of blood like a flower reflects this delicate ethic and
discreet ordinary practices linking giving, care and gratitude, by a
story told in two voices – those of a photographer and an anthropologist – mixing the
realism of the gaze to a poetic apprehension of the world, to recognize
the importance of these “tiny lives” without whom no one would be treated or saved.
