A teacher's love

Single, white, fifty-something: Simon, a former successful comic book author,
now a professor at the Beaux-Arts, bald, pot-bellied and depressed. Are you there?

understands the world he lives in anymore. You are overwhelmed. Your students – including
an overwhelming majority of girls – make comic strips in class
feminists with girly or manga drawings. Their favorite subject:
menstruation, transgender identity, gender discrimination or violence
sexual. You are tired… Your colleagues, failed artists, send you back the
reflection of your own mediocrity. As for the authors of the short story
generation, their success reminds you of your past success. You don't wait
much more in life. But one day, you find a letter in
your locker. And not just any letter, a love letter… Florence Dupré
Latour: "I have a special relationship with love because I have a sister
twin. So from there, everything is distorted, the acme of love is my sister
twin and then there is the rest. The feeling of love for me is a
kind of furious madness. I can't live without the feeling of love, its
promise of madness."
