UNICA ZURN

Unica Zürn (1916-1970) is a 20th century artist and an exceptional woman. The whole ambition of this work is to restore a special place for the artist whole to the one whose destiny, often described as tragic, took precedence over creation. Despite a work that is today very dispersed in many collections, there are nearly seventy drawings and engravings which are brought together here, most of which were made during his stay at Sainte-Anne hospital, in the early 1960s. Archival documents and photographs allow us to to better understand her work as a designer, painter and writer.
