Who was Vivian Maier, this “nanny like no other” who was discovered
posthumously the immense talent of photographer? Vivian Maier died in 2009,
at 83 years old, in the greatest anonymity. We rediscover his full photos
of humanity and care for the destitute and the losers of the American dream
by chance in boxes forgotten at the back of a storage facility in the suburbs of
Chicago. A complex and sometimes confusing personality, a free woman whose destiny
was written between France and America, she had chosen to live with her eyes
