War and Peas: Hello Earth

“Hello Earth! Are you okay?” “Me? I should be fine. You on the other hand... Not so sure." The Earth sits peacefully on another planet. Decked out arms, legs, eyes and a mouth, it is terribly relevant. Hello, Earth comes out of the four hands and two brains of Jonathan Kunz and by Elizabeth Pich, a duo known to millions of Internet users for their webcomic War and Peas but they haven't seen anything of it yet! Because it's not a collection of fan zone that unfolds before your eyes but a sort of sprawling bestiary, a climbing herbarium...an ode in the form of punchy strips that bring back humor at the center of the Earth. Thus parade throughout the sketches biting cats, dogs, trees, bees, snails, flowers, praying mantises male nuns, mermaids, aliens, earthworms...ridiculing the human beings galore who in return never stop humiliating themselves. And all that placed on whose back? Our planet!
