Zenith
Every day, at the time when the sun reaches its zenith and the sky takes on the
color of orange juice, the Potter and the Glassblower meet for
lunch around a huge table. They apparently have a relationship
very formal and during the meal they exchange their impressions on the only
something they seem to share: troubled sleep, punctuated by insomnia and
dreams so vivid that they leave a hint of sleepwalking. Then,
One day, a disconcerting event occurs: upon waking, one of them finds all his
yesterday's work shattered and scattered on the ground. Yet no one
seems to have broken into his home. Drawing on his memories, he then tries to
find the solution to this riddle. In Zenith, a story that is above all visual
and sensitive, María Medem immediately immerses us in an atmosphere where the
mystery and ambiguity. Through a perfect mastery of his astonishing palette of
colors, camera movements and perspective changes, María
Medem creates surprising landscapes page after page, taking us on a journey
