Annette Messager : Comme si

On the occasion of her exhibition “Comme si” (May 11-August 21, 2022), Annette Messager offers an intimate and singular artist’s book. Her texts – aphorisms, fragments, memories, excerpts, reproductions and assemblages – are mixed with her line drawings and unpublished watercolors from the “Tête à tête” series, which extend her notes.

The book, Annette Messager : Comme si, is thus composed of three parts: on the one hand, the line drawings and the texts of Annette Messager which constitute the main body of the book, and on the other hand, a notebook of ink drawings by the artist from the “tête à tête” series.

At the end of the book, as a surprise, an envelope offers an additional booklet dedicated to Annette Messager’s exhibition at LaM.
