Au creux des fleurs

Au creux des fleurs is a story, a narrative around the artist’s archival images, whether they are intimate, anonymous, social, political or belong to a form of common culture. An invitation to discover the affective, emotional relationship he has with these images, witnesses of his wanderings and his invisible journeys. By reappropriating them in the form of gouache or pencil drawings and by confronting them with the source images, Tom gives an account of a mise en abyme of the desires they provoke and of the sentimental flow that unites him to them. He tries to make exist the space which could slip between the two, a link which would weave a form of geography of our imaginary spaces.
