Book Book – Now in its fifth edition, Book Book is a simple, portable guide to learning how to bind books. Written by Myungah Hyon and illustrated by Chang Yuchen, this schematic instruction book introduces readers to the basics of books, from grain direction and imposition to paper folding and cutting. Binding types covered include perfect-bound books, accordion books, pamphlet-stitch binding, long-stitch binding, flat-back books and several types of binding (Japanese four-hole binding, noble binding, tortoiseshell binding, hemp leaf binding). In addition to the book, Book Book also includes a cardboard perforation cradle. All parts are placed in a plastic drawstring bag.
