The BUTT adventure started in Amsterdam in 2001, in a small office in the basement of a building.

Two friends Gert Jonkers and Jop van Bennekom prepare the very first issue of their new magazine, a gay quarterly that they call “BUTT”.

It stops in 2011, then starts again in 2022 on a semi-annual basis, with a more queer and inclusive line than before.
