SUMMARY
Can you remember the last time you were bored? How does time keep power structures in place? Why is the “working girl” generation no longer the stuff of dreams? Could we imagine other, more feminist and queer temporalities? In its giant envelope issue “IT’S ABOUT TIME!”, Censored magazine examines the concept of time from a feminist point of view. It explores the way in which the rhythm of life is governed by normative social demands, addressing our relationship to work, motherhood, struggle and the notion of freedom.

Through dialogues between different eras, it explores themes such as performance, creative friendships and rest and entertainment. The edition includes archive material, including an interview between Angela Davis and Toni Morrison, letters from several contemporary authors and poets, analyses, photo series and five cartes blanches with artists.
