Sound novel conceived as a variation of a text by the author published in 2016, C’est toujours beauxforms a narrative inspired as much by radio fictions as by experimental music, sound poetry or rap.

C’est toujours beaux un nuage au pire c’est chiantis a sound piece based on […], the first text by Théo Robine-Langlois, published by NOUS, collection grmx in 2016, and edited by *DUUU.

The sound version of […] takes its source in the city of Gennevilliers, where *DUUU is in residence since 2016, and its ambient sounds. Théo Robine-Langlois walks around and captures sounds with Julien Brulé. The text is put back into play, drawing on several cultures of voice use, from sound poetry to pop music and rap. In the same way that the book is a quasi-romantic narration enamelled by a graphic system which disturbs it and puts it back into play in the poetry, the sound piece is a sound novel inspired by radio plays such as the Masters of Mystery whose sound effects, not content with setting the scene, punctuate the narrative, cut it up, disturb it and replace the […] that dot the original text.
